All-New 10th-Generation Honda Civic Makes Its Debut on YouTube

There’s an all-new Honda Civic on the block, and it made its smashing debut earlier this month at YouTube Studios in Los Angeles. Promising to be the most dynamic, most technologically advanced and most refined Civic brought to market yet, the newest iteration of this old favorite is slated to hit the streets this fall.

Dynamically styled with a more athletic stance and low, wide proportions, the new 2016 Honda Civic has a muscular feel to it that is further accentuated with clean bodylines and sharp wheel arches, while available LED headlights and taillights add some extra-bright stylistic elements. But a sporty compact sedan as such is nothing without a spirited powertrain to match its dramatic look. The 2016 Civic features two all-new engine options, including Honda’s first turbo engine offered in the U.S. The 1.5-liter, direct-injection turbocharged inline-4 powerplant is also expected to return 40 mpg, making it as fun as it is practical. Even if you go for the base engine, you’ll have plenty of power to play with; the 2.0-liter i-VTEC 4-Cylinder engine is the most powerful base engine ever offered on a non-Si Civic in the U.S.

Inside, Honda filled its new Civic to the brim with modern technology galore. Added innovations throughout make for a simpler, more personalized driving experience. Like its sister sedan, the 2016 Honda Accord, the 2016 Honda Civic will offer both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for seamless smartphone integration. Users will be able to get directions, make calls and hear their text messages read aloud right from the incorporated touchscreen. Additionally, the Honda Sensing suite of advanced safety technologies is an available option. The suite of driver-assistive features includes Collision Mitigation Braking, Road Departure Mitigation and Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow.

2016 Honda Pilot Earns TOP SAFETY PICK+ Rating from IIHS

2016 Honda PilotHonda is known for its litany of award-winning models, and the automaker’s latest iteration of the midsized Pilot SUV is no exception. The completely redesigned 2016 Honda Pilot just earned a 2015 TOP SAFETY PICK+ rating from the IIHS, and we couldn’t be more thrilled. At our Honda dealership near Easton, MD, our goal is to keep our valued clients safe on the road at all times, and we know that there are no better vehicles to do so than our outstanding Honda models. The all-new Honda Pilot is just one of our excellent choices, and a perfect option when you’re trying to find something fit for the whole family.

The 2016 Honda Pilot passed all five of its IIHS crash tests with flying colors, earning a top rating of GOOD in all five categories, including Moderate Overlap Front, Side, Roof Strength, Head Restraints and Seats as well as the notoriously difficult Small Overlap Front. To earn the coveted TOP SAFETY PICK+ title, though, it also had to excel in its Front Crash Prevention test. The TOP SAFETY PICK+ designation is reserved only for those vehicles that have an available front crash prevention system that ranks as either advanced or superior in the IIHS’ eyes, and we’re excited to say that the 2016 Honda Pilot does. It received a rating of “superior,” the highest rating available in this category.

With this outstanding achievement, Honda is one step closer to its goal of creating a three-row mainstream SUV with the highest available government and safety ratings. Not only is the Pilot the most technologically advanced Honda vehicle you’ll find on Delaware’s roadways, but it’s filled with a host of state-of-the-art safety features. Its available Honda Sensing package offers a suite of driver-assistive technologies that improve situational awareness and help prevent collisions before they can occur. These technologies include the Collision Mitigation Braking System with Forward Collision Warning, Lane Keeping Assist System, Adaptive Cruise Control Lane Departure Warning and Road Departure Mitigation. Plus, a rearview camera comes standard on each model.
